| | | | Review Title: Too Much For Too Little! | | | | | | Reviewer: Anonymous | | | | Review Date: 5/22/04 | | | | | | | Rate This Apartment | | | | | | | I have lived here for 11 months and will be moving from this hell hole in a month.Cons: my car was broken into (no cop comes through here even though they told me one did), thin walls--you can hear the people around you talking and even snoring at night.The place doesn't have enough light and you have to use lights in the middle of the day.You can smell what your neighbors are cooking, and mine are Indian so the whole hall smells like their dinner 24/7.The guy under me is mental and makes the most disgusting noises I have ever heard then plays the tv at 3 in the morning because he doesn't work so he sleeps whenever he feels like it.There are many weird people like him here. The air conditioners don't work well and your electric bill will blow you away in the summer months (even after they came out to fix it my electric bill was still extremely high and I only keep the temp around 74.)The maintenance doesn't fix your problems when they come.The office doesn't always notify maintenance of your requests.My apartment has a spotlight outside the window for no apparent reason, and the sidewalks leading to the door and the entrance are dark.Cat hairs from a prior tenant have been accumulating on my kitcken floor for 8 months, so I have to clean the hairs every week or it gets disgusting.The rental office had to change my apartment 2 times before I moved in because of their incompetence.Pros: great location, within walking distance of Krogers, Blockbuster, True Value, CVS, and many restaurants. Close to downtown.Grandview is a great little town if you like small shops and eating out!!Staff and maintenance are nice most of the time. | | | | |
