Apartment Review for Abbot's Cove - Columbus, OH

When I rented this place, I was looking for somewhere that had more space at an affordable price and Abbot's Cove seemed to fit the bill. What I also got was 12 months of NIGHTMARE. The other tenants in this place are horrible - you cannot drive through the apartment complex or get into your garage because of the ten or so kids that constantly use the parking lot as a playground. You have to use your horn and yell at them just to get them to move. The amount of glass and trash on the ground is ridiculous. These tenants do not pick up their own trash and pile the same dumpster up as high as they can. When it is too full, they just throw the trash on the ground. The lawns are always covered in trash and glass! During the warm months, the other tenants have their doors wide open with kids running everywhere - this is the hispanic ghetto! Nobody has manners or consideration for others. Be prepared to have people sitting on your patio or your steps at all hours of the day and night. It is not uncommon to see an apartment patio full of 10 people in the evenings. I do not think they limit the amount of tenants allowed to live in one dwelling. Parking is horrible. There are parking permits but the cars are junkers and half the time have flat tires and car parts laying all over (people use the lot as their personal maintenance garage). The worst part about this place are the constant gun fire to be heard at all hours of the day and night. I can understand hearing a gun shot once in awhile but multiple times a day is totally unacceptable! The police helicopter that hovers over the area scanning for criminals makes you feel like your in Bosnia. This apartment complex is totally wild and filled with low life scumbags. Do yourself the biggest favor of your life and pass this place up! You do not want to live in a haven for criminals and illegal aliens.
