Apartment Review for Big Walnut Apartments - Columbus, OH

In the approx 8 years I've lived in Columbus, I have rented from 4 locations. Big Walnut is by far the worse!!! I moved in because I felt it was in a great location and the apartment had plenty of room. That's the most positve thing I can find to say about them. Poor security. Two months after moving in my neighbor was assualted in front of the apartment and her car window was shot out. This is after management gave notice that the police would be providing regular surveillance the area. I'm still waiting to see them. Poor Mantenance.My A/C was busted during the hottest summer months and I was never given notification of when it would be fixed. All they care about is that their 24 hour response 'Maintenance Guarantee' was met. Poor Management.I didn't receive a copy of my lease until about 45 days before it was up. At that time, I was notified that I had to give 60 days notice. I was suckered into another 6 month lease and have given 90 days notice, just in case.
