Apartment Review for Big Walnut Apartments - Columbus, OH

I do not recommend moving here unless you plan to almost never be in your apartment. Of all the places I have lived this was the most extensively damaged apartment I have seen yet. Cracks, chips, dents, dings, falling light fixture coverings - it has it all. The apartment we were shown looks incredibly different than the one we were allowed to see after we had signed the paperwork and had a movie date. Most balconies seem to come with a storm drain that leads directly to your standing room. There is no drain directly below it but there are two small, very unhelpful holes where it is supposed to drain. There have been so many noise complaints to the Whitehall police that their response is that the complex should do something about it (do not expect help from them). Other tenants have said they had noise issues and the complex never does anything. The noise is all day every day and nothing will ever be done about it. Any maintenance issues you have you may expect to never be fixed and if they are expect it to be when someone feels compelled to get to it.
