Apartment Review for Brafferton Village - Columbus, OH

Nice place. The complex is technically a "condo" complex, and all of the units are privately owned. I'd say most of them are rented out though. So you and your neighbor will probably have different landlords. Its nice having a private landlord, but if you have problems with neighbors there's not a "leasing office" to go complain to, or anything like that.

Positives: Its nice to have a private landlord, at least my landlord- they take care of maintenance issues quickly, and they just put in a new kitchen and new AC unit when I moved in. Of course I cannot speak of other landlords. Having 1.5 bathrooms is nice, and also the finished basement is great. The fenced-in porches are nice too. Its also pretty quiet here, considering its right off of Bethel Road. Landscaping is very well maintained.

Negatives: Not enough parking! Each unit has one assigned spot, which is great. But keep a tow-truck number handy though- people tend to park in spots that are not assigned to them, and you might have to get someone towed out of your spot. I recently had someone park in my spot, but I found them and got them to move their car before I had to get them towed. There are only a few "common" spaces in each lot, and sometimes its hard for your other roommates cars or friends cars to have somewhere to park. Also people tend to smoke out on their front porches and the smoke drifts into my unit (I'm a non-smoker), so that gets annoying, and also there is a lot of litter that for some reason the landscaping people tend to not pick up.

Overall a decent place to live.
