Apartment Review for Carlin Manor Apartments - Columbus, OH

DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A HO OR A DEALER! When I first moved here, I was impressed by the large apartment for low rent. I am from out of state, and did not know Columbus. The apartment was dirty and not cleaned at all when I moved in. Drug dealers openly do business in the parking lot. I been stopped by dealers several times while trying to park my car. they thought I was another customer pulling up to buy something! The managers change every month. all they care about is getting the rent on time. they wont fix anything, but be 1 day late on rent and they put a eviction note on your door! There are shootings and robberies all the time here. I think the maintenance people come into my apartment when Im not home. I have come home to find the smell of marijuana smoke in my house, and I dont smoke pot! Stuff is moved around, windows open that I didnt open. I have seen prostituts working in other apartments. Some girls work at a strip club and get drove home in their company car with the name of the strip club on it. Men go in and out all night. People leave trash piled up and the mangers dont do anything. Loud parties and music all night. the managers leave at 5 so dont see whats goin on. the roof shingls got blown off at that last wind storm and they still have not fixed it. water leaks in every time it rains. they never plow the snow in the parking lots in winter. none of the pizza places will even deliver here anymore. I asked the manger at dominos why it says on their website that they deliver here, but they dont. he says they got robbed and stiffed too many times. same at papa johns and pizza hut. so, dont expect to order pizza if you move here. this place sucks and I'm moving out as soon as my lease is up!
