Apartment Review for Cross Key Row - Columbus, OH

This place is no better than the ghetto of New York City.. people hanging around the parking lot doing drugs,drinking, violently loud music, gang-looking people living here mostly. The maintainance guys don't like to fix anything; they act like its not their problem, it's someone else's job. I am on the 3rd floor and my a/c unit does not work. I have asked since my move in date for them to please fix it and they said it's unfixable... soo uhh PUT A NEW AC IN!!! duh??? it is reaching 100 degrees easily up here on a daily basis in my apartment, and I have had back surgery and other health problems. I was told I could have 6 small animals (pocket pets) when I moved in; they are pet rats and are just the same as HAMSTERS you jerks. Now they are trying to make me pay $500 security deposit and are telling me I can only keep 2 because the "neighbors don't want me to have them" okayyy WTF??? since when is it the neighbors business what I do or have in my own apartment??? I think what it is is that the maintainance guy complained to the office that HE didn't like them so they're trying to blame it on my neighbors. I was also accused of having a cat, which I don't have. I was told about the a/c situation to buy my own a/c window unit. WRONG ANSWER. If they want me to do certain things they need to do what they are supposed to do too. DON'T MOVE HERE. The real reason they don't want to put a new a/c in is that they don't want to pay for it. They're going to find out in court what's what. BULL CRAP. Oh, also they are deceptive when they tell you what the rent is and didn't tell me that the water bill is included in the rent. The rent is not $349, it is $370. They should tell people that.
