Apartment Review for Easton Commons - Columbus, OH

Living across from Easton Town Center is the biggest advantage to living at Easton Commons. Apart from that, expect typical large complex treatment - you're just a number and a monthly rent check. Pros - Location New complex Plenty of parking Average amenities Maintenance requests promptly handled Cons - Overpriced for the size (my apartment -1 bedroom with attached garage- was very small) Sterile complex feeling Easton traffic during holidays, spring & summer Thin walls - I heard everything upstairs Pet policy - Large deposit plus monthly fee I had to call four times to have my deposit returned to me. When I finally received it, it was not the right amount (they left out the half-refund from the pet deposit). When I called to inquire about the status of that, I was told , "you must have paid your rent late or something, so we kept it" which was completely incorrect. It took another month and several phone calls to get the remaining amount owed to me. Also, for some reason, the mail was an issue at this place. I would not get mail for days...then suddenly my mailbox was so full I could barely open it. I reported this to the local P.O several times but it never changed.
