Apartment Review for Easton Commons - Columbus, OH

The noise level is extremely high. Street noise is audible and I can hear every footstep that my neighbors make. The management allowed a large group of adult men to move into the apartment next door -- they have loud parties nearly every night that last until 4 am. Complaints to the office/management staff have been ignored for more than 2 months now, even though it's been submitted in writing to their office. The neighbors are heavy smokers and the smoke wafts into my apartment and stinks. There are cigarette butts, beer bottles and dog poop all around the neighbor's apartment. Forget about peace and quiet if you move here. Looks nice on the outside but the living experience is miserable. No parking for visitors since Easton shoppers park here. Groups of unsavory people congregate on the street corners late at night and solicitors knock on the door trying to sell candy and cable and all sorts of things during the week. There is supposed to be a 'courtesy officer' but the office staff won't give you his/her number -- you can only contact the officer when the office is open! If you feel unsafe after 5 pm you'd better call 911 because there is nobody on staff to assist you.
