Too many problems
Review Date: 10/1/2008 Reviewer: Anonymous
The main problems with Fox and Hounds are: 1. Noise: Near by railway track. Noise of railway is really problematic, mainly during summer time when people need to keep their windows open. Noisy neighbor is another menace and management does not seem to bother about that. 2. Sublease and lease breaking: If you need to leave the apartment for some unforeseen reason (change of job, or transfer etc) during your lease term, Fox and hounds management will make your life hell. They do not allow mid term lease breaking even if you arrange a suitable sub-lease party. They will force you to pay full term payment, till your lease expires (not 2-3 months rent). 3. Service: Service is not upto the mark. Gymnasium is too crowded, noisy and badly maintained. Broken equipments are not repaired for long. 4. Hot water in laundry for washing clothes: You will never get warm or hot water in laundry to wash your clothes even though you have to pay the same charge (that includes cost of warm/hot water). 5. Problems after you left: Once you leave the apartment after 3 years of stay, they will charge you good amount of money in the pretext of “fogging” (to clear cooking “odor”) and cleaning the carpet. This is a real problem for all those who prefer Asian food. Considering the monthly rent they charge, you can have a much better apartment in Columbus, even near OSU campus. |
