Still here...Unfortunately

I moved in to Gov. Square in July, and things have not turned out as I had hoped. First, the positive. I have not found the staff to be as rude and ignorant as others have. They have been responsive to my calls for maintenance. And when I had a lunatic Hindu woman burning incense in the hallway and chanting, they were quick to get her to stop burning stuff in the common areas. They also responded quickly to my noise issues with the same apartment. However, the walls are paper thin. However, I wish I had looked at my apartment when the neighbors above me were home. I hear EVERY step they make. The floors creek and it is a nightmare. I must also question if managment checks for immigration paperwork. The hispanic men are out in the parking lot working on their cars all the time. They drive around the parking lot with their bass pounding and not giving one ounce of concern for anyone else in the community. The laundry is a junk yard also. The lint traps are filled with long black hair. I stopped using the facilities. The machines are awful. I honestly think that this community is 25% causcasian and 75% immigrants. I have nothing against people living here from other places, but I don't like it when they don't give a crap about anyone else. Trust me...for what I am paying in rent I should be receiving a lot more. |
