Apartment Review for Hibernia Apartments - Columbus, OH

I lived in Hibernia for 8 months, and this is not because they have 8 month leases it is because I broke my lease and paid over $2,000 to save my life! The staff was absolutely, all three managers that came and went during my 8 months were the most incompetent set of individuals I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

The maintenance staff were so slow I could have enrolled in a self fix it class and made the repairs myself. It took two months for the shoddy dishwasher to get fixed and 3 months for all repairs to the washer that would leak onto the floor to be fully repaired.

The gas bills were outrageous. They averaged anywhere from 200- 450 dollars a month in the winter. There is such an incredible draft in the apartments, and the staff could care less. Let's not even talk about our weekly visits from the friendly Columbus Police Department. Oh, and we can't forget the gas leak the staff didn't tell anyone about and the police and fire fighters had to evacuate the area themselves because the staff members that were supposed to be working were "on break" off the property!

Please don't let the exterior fool you. I have had friends who stayed at Hibernia and didn't listen to my warnings and they bailed out as soon as they could. It may be pretty on the outside, but believe me, it's ugly, real ugly.
