Apartment Review for Oak Run Apartments - Columbus, OH

Funny the one review is probably someone at the rental office. That's exactly something the property manager would say. "A great place to call home". haha that's quite laughable. The office staff is shady and they are a joke. They get NOTHING done. You can call them for years about the same problem they just dont care. They have been telling residents since 2000 that they are going to remodel the kitchens do upgrades etc. (I have good friends that lived here 3 years before I moved in) 10 years later NOTHING has happened in ANY apartments. I stay because its a good amount of space for the money, im setteled already and have bad credit nor the means to move. My kitchen appliances are almost as old as I am. The fridge was manufactured in 1989 which unfortunately causes a very high electric bill. Also every outlet in every apartment is installed upside down, probably a fire hazard and if you have a cute nightlight its just going to have to get plugged in upside down. They fix nothing!!! Dishwashers do not work, the fridge barely works, the locks on the doors are so old most of them are striped and any key will open it. I have my own brinks lock on my door. And they have came in to replace the air filters twice in the 7 years I have been here. I buy my own because its easier than calling the office and wasting my time. There has been countless maintence people since I have been here I have seriously lost count. The maintence man when I first moved in was fired for going into apartments of girls that lived alone when they were gone.
