Apartment Review for Park Trails - Columbus, OH

The apathetic attitude, non-existence of rule enforcement (grills all over ever patio), the tenants allowed to move in for the bottom line of money rather than quality of character and or foresight of how the property will be affected. Ill-mannered children without regard for others, the getting rid of EVERY decent hard working maintenance man and keeping the one person who is incompetent to fix or repair ANYTHING, the poor maintenance of the landscaping (pictures on the website very old!), theft occurrence, and yes the trash, the trash, the trash. It is such a terrible shame, the property has changed management hands so many times, that I have lost count. The Only Manager that cared and worked hard to make the property better to help people was Mary! She was on track with correcting the downward spiral and the misguided property owners brought in someone else; who is what I can only refer to as a JOKE! She only pushed the fast forward button the decline! Now that she has successfully ruined the property, she is leaving… what’s next?! This once beautiful area is very quickly becoming just another run of the mill slum. You can’t even get a pizza delivered to your home on a Saturday evening, because all of the pizza businesses (except Papa John’s) have flagged “Park Trails Apartments” as a “BAD” neighborhood (theft and robbery!). And yet with the above mentioned amenities I have mentioned, they property has the audacity to want to raise the rent prices based on the square footage and old photos. That square footage is nice only for so long and you have to deal with the area in which you live in! It is a shame!
