Apartment Review for Ravine Bluff - Columbus, OH

Ok, I moved in here on a 13 month lease. I moved in staff was good to me. Showed me the place and looked good. Moved in to a NON pet apartment. After about a Week after moving some things in and Checking the place out, I Noticed a ton of flaws in the construction and misc things in the apartment that were to worn/unuseable. I talked to the apartment complex and they moved me to a Pet Friendly apartment due to that my GF at the time wanted a dog. Paid the Sec. deposit, did my inital check first thing before I moved. there were to many things that they needed to fix, so they moved me to another space. Marked and checked the shit out of that paperwork they give ya. Had the Maint guys fix a bunch of things, and was livable. Ok so heres the rest of the story, when i had an issue the staff would not come when i was in the apartment, always when I was not there. They took a week or more to fix the problems. My apartment was broken into because the door was not fixed when I requested it said it was not an issue, but yet 48 hours later it was broken into. Then a dumbass 2 doors down didnt hook his water line up right for his washer and flooded my damn apartment, and the apartment complex stated that it was "my" problem not theres, my renters insurance should cover it, but yet the smell itself was horrible i stayed with friends for a week. so now to the end of my lease. PW stated that i would have a check and rec a notice in the mail with any outstanding dues owed. Well i got a bill for the damn price of the damn complex (sarcasam- but alot of money) stated that I had to have the carpet replaced because of the pet, and had to have the holes filled due to the pictures hanging, and the doors needed replaced. ok so i took a look at my lease agreement, ok i can live with the carpet (but at the same time they were professionaly cleaned- took a black light to it and can't find anything as they would. The doors already marked on my paper work, the holes in the wall were minimal and was covedered by my lease agreement for fullfilling my contract. so at the end of it all.. the only reason and i mean that as a last option type, price was not bad and if your in apinch it's doable. but other than that steer clear.
