Apartment Review for Residences At Edgewater Place - Columbus, OH

I wish someone would have warned me. These places are a health risk and the owners don't care! How? MOLD!!!! The stuff is everywhere. My window seals, my floor boards (bathroom & kitchen), my utility closet, you can find mold almost every dark moist place. They built these places very cheap and poorly. Cutting costs on insulation apparently not only allows your neighbors fart on the toilet be heard but it causes a breeding ground for mold. You would think that there would be a concern from office staff or someone right? Nope, sorry not so. Their response was, "Yeah it’s a common problem, we can put a dehumidifier in your house and come recaulk your windows." Four months and two complaints later still no dehumidifier or window recaulking. This area is quickly turning into 'the hood'! I am not a dirty person and have never had ROACHES but I have been recently finding LARGE (aprox 1.5”) ROACHES and WATERBUGS in my apartment. When I complained about the roaches and water bugs, I was told, “Well they aren’t ‘dirty’ roaches. They are coming from the field behind you apartment building. We had another lady complain about them as well.” Granted they sent the exterminator a couple days later and they weren’t ‘dirty’ roaches, THEY WERE STILL ROACHES!!!!!!!!! Loud booming cars and horns at all times of the night and morning, loud fussing neighbors, no parking, dogs running loose w/out a leash (regularly) and most importantly MOLD are all reasons why I am ready to break my lease and take Ardent Communities to court. Oh by the way my name is Tinisha Tolber and I am the complaining resident. No need to be anonymous. I will be back in the leasing office asap with yet another complaint and the newest dead roach in baggy in hand!This is ridiculous.
