Apartment Review for Riverlodge Apartments Inc - Columbus, OH

I moved from a out of town and I totally wish I would have picked another apartment. The units are decent, but when I moved in, instead of allowing me to check off the list of cleaned items, the maintenance guy checked everything off as clean and told me to just sign it. I refused and I'm glad I did. The refrigerator and stove was dirty and the cabinets were nasty. During the winter, water was coming through my bathroom ceiling and a chunk of the ceiling came down. I put in a work order and it's been 3 months. No one has come to check it out. This place looks nice on the outside but alot of people who live there are not. This place rents out to Section 8 and working people. I personally think they should decide to rent to one group or the other. I can't tell you how many times I'm awakened in the middle of the night because of people talking loudly, fighting or pulling fire alarms. The police are that complex more than I am. Another negative aspect is that the walls are paper thin. You can hear people having sex in their apartments while you're sitting in your living room or sleeping in your bed room. This place is a waste of money. I wouldn't encourage anyone to move there who has a job. This place has already gone to the Section 8 dogs.
