Apartment Review for Sawbury Commons - Columbus, OH

Under no circumstances, for any reason, at any time, should you ever, EVER consider renting from Ardent ( Sawbury Commons ) I cant tell you what an unbelivable mistake that would be and how much you would come to regret it. That is unless you delight at the thought of a non existent maint team, numerous fines, car break ins, an office that doesnt care about anything but raising rent and units that dont get painted or new carpet between tenants. Dont even think for a second you will get your over priced despoit back either. 39 days, 11 phone calls, 8 messages and 3 in person confrontations later and I still dont have mine back. Im in the process of filing a claim in small claims court against these thieves. Funny how they were able to move someone else in my old apt in three weeks but couldnt give me back my deposit within the legally regulated time limit. Their home office cant seem to contact me concerning this matter either, I wish I could say I am suprised. What would lead me to believe I would get hosed on my deposit? Maybe the fact it took their "award winning" maint team seven weeks to fix my dishwasher and kitchen sink. Maybe it was getting my rent raised by $50 for no reason. No, no, it had to be getting fined $25 for having a crack in my blinds. Which considering the fact I was missing a screen door for the entire time I lived there, it makes it ignorant to fine me for unti non conformity. Every person I spoke to while living there absolutely hated the office and their despicable business practices. Go figure people dislike getting fined non stop and their deposits stolen. I would give my left arm to have never crossed paths with this company. It has been one unbearable, rediculous nightmare after another. If you value your money and sanity, look elsewhere.
