Apartment Review for Steeplechase Village - Columbus, OH

I used to live here in the mid 90's and these apartments were a complete piece of trash. The mngmt hated my family from the beginning. Actually it was more the security guard and his family had it out for us. (They used to have a security guard.. who sold drugs!!) They called children services on my family. When cps came out, they realized everything they said about us was a lie. We complained many times that our carport was in severly poor damage. It had huge chunks taken out of the concrete!! We lived there for like 4 years and it was never repaired until just after we moved out. Our dad's car was broken into by a drugged up guy who passed out in it and we had to call the police. They drug the guy out of the car and he put up a fight!! There would be police walking the grounds and helicopters flying about with their spotlights. So many stray cats that you hear them fighting all through the night. They never kept up on cutting the grass or weeds. Every yard was covered in dandelions. There were gangs that would walk in the street and not allow you to drive through. When you did they tried to confront you. It was an overall horrible neighborhood. The apartments themselves would be awesome if they were in a nice area. We never really had any huge problems with the apartment. Very roomy, alot of windows, nice kitchen, mud room. I hope they are way diff. now. When I lived there Hamilton Creek (next complex over) was worse off than Steeplechase. They are probably even now..
