Apartment Review for Summerview Apartments - Columbus, OH

I lived at Summerview for 22 months from October of 2006 until August of 2008. I lived in the front of the complex in a 2 bedroom upstairs end unit. They gave me $1000 anytime dollars to use for my first 12 months, and then another $500 anytime dollars when I re-signed my lease for another 10 months. You can use this money anytime (monthly - about $80/month off, or in a lump sum). The great things about this apartment complex are: the washer/dryer is free, water is a set rate ($15/mo), it's all electric (no gas), there are no pet deposit fees for having a cat, I always felt safe and secure, convenient location (2 minutes from Polaris), and the office staff/maintenance are very friendly and helpful. I received my entire $300 deposit back for my apartment, but that's not the most important thing. I clumsily left all of my important documents (old tax returns, receipts of major purchases, college transcripts, etc.) at the apartment in one of my kitchen cupboards after I moved out. I hadn't even realized I forgot them until Carolyn (the office manager) called me. She told me that she had all of the documents for me and my check for my full deposit refund. Needless to say, I was relieved! I couldn't believe I could be such an idiot to leave my tax returns behind, but it was comforting to know that the staff at Summerview cared to keep my important documents for me and call me personally to pick them up. I could keep going on about the things I loved about this apartment complex, but it would turn into a short novel (if it hasn't already). I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move to the Polaris area.
