Apartment Review for Summerview Apartments - Columbus, OH

The Good: a. These are the quietest apartments I have ever lived in. I never hear any of my neighbors. b. No pet deposit or pet rent c. Good Location d. The pool is open early and stays open far past labor day The Bad a. TERRIBLE SNOW REMOVAL. They will wait until the snow has been down for about 2-3 days, and then plow it, without even going all the way down to the pavement, so you are driving on a sheet of ice. b. The garage rental is $35 a month, and the door isn't even automatic. It kind of defeats the purpose if you're using it as a way to avoid the snow/rain. c. The office staff takes its time helping you. We had a gap between the seal and the door, I could literally see the sunshining through the crack. THEN, when we would open the door, it would fall off. I had to complain about 4-5 times, and no one came. It was when they came to fix the dishwasher that had flooded the house, that I mentioned it to the maintenance man and he fixed it while he was there. d. They do not reinforce anyone cleaning up after their animals, so there is literally animal crap EVERYWHERE! e. The pool is TINY and you are right on top over everyone if there is more than 2 other people there. Weigh your options, and choose what is important to you. I have lived here for a year, and I'm moving to a townhome that is right around the same price for a LOT more space. I've noticed that there are LOT of Indian people there, that drive like morons and run stop signs... I just think that there are better choices out there.
