Apartment Review for The Residences At Towne Center - Columbus, OH

This place was cheaply built and you could hear EVERYTHING going on in the units around you. I could lay in my bed at night and hear my neighbors on the toilet. The grounds are very nice, which is what drew us in, but I'm pretty sure you are paying for the flowers, landscaping, swimming pools, and gyms. We moved across the state and wasn't able to spend a lot of time looking around. Thank God we signed a 6 month lease. We were out of there in 5 months. The doors are cheap and won't stay closed. The house is built on a concrete slab and we had big hairy spiders and crikets EVERYWHERE and within days we were covered in spider bites. The carpet was covered in dog hair and a mouse had chewed through the drywall. We hadn't even started to unpack and they wouldn't move us to another unit! I added pictures of what their "finished" drywall job consisted of. The neighborhood is shady. 4-6 college aged kids will share a 2 bedroom flat. They walk around the complex yelling and fighting drunk. I had a guy show up at my door at 1:00 am looking for someone; he didn't know the name of who he was there to see. Probably a drug deal. The woman who lived above us was a single mother who went out clubbing most nights and would bring back all of these broads in hooker boots and heels who would stomp all over the damn porch, stairs, and floor. She had people in and out, crashing there for days, taking up all the parking. We've had college housing that was better. This place is for lower middle class yuppie wannabes. I thought Columbus was an expensive city to live in. NO NO NO... I paid the same price for my next home - 2 floors, guaranteed parking, same amenities, twice the square footage as this hell hole.
