Apartment Review for University Village - Columbus, OH

I lived at UV last year and it was the worse apt complex that I have ever lived in. The mgmt was rude and when it was time to move out they were horrible at letting us know what needed to be done at checkout. When we went to go and turn in our keys they told us that we need to do a whole list of stuff and if we didn't get it done by the that day then we would be charged. They find things to charge you with even if there was nothing happening. Mgmt is rude and they don't care about their clients only about themselves. The apartments are in horrible condition nothing like the models, and walls are paper thin. I heard everything that happened beside me, above me and around me. We also had a peeping tom that looked through our bathroom windows, and when we complained nothing was done, so we had to call the cops. The only reliable section of the apt complex that was reliable was the mainteance dept. They were so wonderful and always did things the day that they were called. (thank you because that is the only thing that ran smoothly in that apt complex) I would not recommend this place unless you want to live in a very disorganized development with rude mangement that doesn't help with anything. They give you the run around all the time, and let you know what you want to hear. This became a problem half way throughout the year and caused a really bad chain down the road. When they paint before you move in they just paint over all the water spots, and again that becomes a HUGE problem later too. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!You can get so much more with the money you are paying!!!
