Apartment Review
Not worth the money

This apartment was the grossest thing I've ever lived in, even grosser than most Newlove places I've seen. -the carpet is from the 70's and was always crusty no matter how much I swept -the drywall was hung wrong and is therefore deteriorating -the trim around the floor is falling apart -the linoleum in the kitchen was all cut up -the bathtub was stuck in shower mode only (could not turn shower off to run a bath), ceiling molded over in bathroom every three showers or so -also, in the bathroom, we had to reculk the bathtub several times because it kept cracking -doors are *all* broken, walls are so thin that we could hear the people on the third floor's conversations when we were on the bottom (basement) floor. -front door lock did not lock properly (deadbolt did luckily, but not doorknob lock) -management took almost a month, every month, to cash my rent check. -parking was always a problem, there's barely enough room for the people who *did* live here, so when someone who wasn't supposed to park here did you're screwed. And no visitor parking for about six blocks, so we got screwed often. I could go on and on and on about how horrible and nasty this place was, but I think you get the point. For 650/month for a two bedroom apartment, you'd think they could do a little better than this crusty trash hole. Definitly would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. |
