Apartment Review for Whispering Pines - Columbus, OH

When I moved into this complex 2 years ago it seemed like a nice place, but like other reviews, the actual unit is nothing like what you get. Repairs I requested at move in are still not done after TWO YEARS. It was not even cleaned. Over sprayed paint everywhere, including painted right on top of dog hair on the air vents. Leaks in roof ignored. Broken stove never fixed. An attempted theft of my car caused $700 damage. Crime and vandalism is rampant now. Graffitti on buildings has not been removed. Rental office keeps claiming that they are doing something about it, but all I've ever seen them do is change their name from Forest Park. Made appts. for maintenance and they do not show up, electrical is faulty, air doesn't cool, freezers don't freeze. Old furnaces, gas leaks and gaps in windows and doors made heating costs over $250/mo in winter. Bunches of unsupervised children roaming around with broken off tree limbs and rocks hitting cars. Maintenance person is nice, but extremely overworked and gets no supplies to do anything with. Rental office staff is only pleasant when they are taking your money, otherwise they are beligerant and rude. They refused to give owner or management company's name and address to I could complain. DO NOT RENT HERE!
