Apartment Review for Worthington Ridge Apartments - Columbus, OH

I have lived in many of the apartment complexes in the area and I can honestly say I am most happy with this one. It is located off of one of the lesser traveled roads in the area and the large trees do a good job at blocking a lot of the noise fro the street and other housing developments in the area. The building I live in is pretty quiet, as most of the residents are late 20-somethings or 30-somethings that have careers and a normal Monday-Friday work schedule. I live on the second floor (top) and have had no major problems with noisy neighbors except for the one currently below me, however that seems to have been taken care of. Maintenance has been really good at repairing or replacing appliances when problems come up (my dishwasher went kaput and was replaced with a nice new dishwasher, not a refurb). Management has been pretty receptive when an issue or problem has been brought to their attention. I have been very pleased that most people in the apartment community are very cordial and friendly, and having a small dog, most people know him by name and say hi to him when we are out. To the best of my knowledge there hasn't been a lot of crime so I feel pretty safe. As others have said, there's not a lot of plowing or salting in the winter months, however apartment complexes are not required to plow unless snow exceeds 3 inches. As far as salting, salt can be really harmful to animals, especially dogs (it can burn their skin and paws) so I believe it is better that they do not. Overall, I am very pleased with Worthington Ridge and plan on staying for awhile. Recently, one of my friends decided to move here and when I went with her to explore all her housing options in the area, we found that the amount of rent paid here is way better than most other complexes, plus the units are much bigger and nicer. I have, and will continue to, recommend Worthington Ridge Apartments to anyone looking for an affordable, friendly and convenient place to live in the Polaris area.
